I have been experimenting recently. And I can affirm they just don’t listen. They hear, that is sure. But they don’t listen. And just like that more than £50K of potential business fall on deaf ears and out of their bottom line.

“They” are businesses I do personal business with. Businesses like my dentist, my car dealer, my car service garage, my wine supplier etc.

The experiment was to deliberately share strategic sales information with a non-sales member of staff; track how fast & far it travels; observe how it is used to lead me (the client) up the value ladder. (Happy to share specific details – message me if you are interested)

The outcome was a huge disappointment – information does not travel. Nothing happens. Zilch.
